Who we are
Lexentia provides AI tools for legal and professional services. When you use the platform, you trust us with documents that are often privileged and always sensitive. This policy describes how we handle that trust.
What we collect
Account information such as your name, email, and organisation. Documents and content you upload or generate. Usage data such as the features you use and the actions you take, which we use to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use your documents
Your documents are processed only to deliver the features you request, such as analysis, drafting, citation, and review. We do not use your documents to train any model. Where a request is routed to a commercial AI provider, it is sent under agreements that prohibit retention and training on your content.
Where your data lives
Documents are stored encrypted in object storage. For customers on a sovereign deployment, all data remains within infrastructure you control and never reaches our servers. Standard deployments store data in regions selected for residency and performance.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your data. We share information only with the service providers required to run the platform, and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information where required by law, and we will narrow any such disclosure to what is strictly necessary.
Your controls
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from your account. Deleting your account removes your documents and associated records. Project-level access can be granted and revoked, with every access recorded for audit.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete content or close your account, we remove the data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
